SING YOUR SONG — ACHILL CHORAL SOCIETY’S SPRING CONCERT

Saturday, May 6, 2:00 to 3:30 P.M., (Doors open at 1:30 P.M.)
Westminster United Church, 247 Broadway, Orangeville

Join us for Sing Your Song as we perform a vibrant array of beautiful selections that celebrate the many joys in life: spending time with people you treasure, honouring the beauty and complexity of our natural world, and the rewards of perseverance. Works include pieces by world-renowned Norwegian composer Ola Gjeilo, Canadian composers/arrangers Matthew Emery, Cree-Dene Sherryl Sewepagaham, guest director Jenny Crober, and more.

We are thrilled to be led by both our artistic director Shawn Grenke and guest director Jenny Crober, and accompanied by our collaborative pianist Nancy Dettbarn.

Saskia Tomkins, one of Canada’s most versatile instrumentalists, and a frequent performer with JUNO nominees “The Sultans of String”, will accompany us on violin/fiddle, viola and nyckelharpa.

Please Note: Members of the Achill Choral Society are fully vaccinated and will perform masked.
For the safety of all, we ask all concert attendees to also wear a mask.
