Under the direction of Shawn Grenke and accompanied by collaborative pianist Nancy Dettbarn, the Achill Choral Society invites audiences to experience the magic of the holiday season with Season of Light — a concert filled with beloved classics and inspiring new works and audience participation.
This year’s program features the Ontario premiere of Mary McDonald’s newly written “Gloria”, alongside beautiful compositions by Sarah Quartel, John Rutter, Elaine Hagenberg, and more. Adding to the rich musical experience, the choir will be joined by a guest string quintet, creating a truly memorable seasonal performance.
